David and Marion Donaldson Dress
This vintage floor length dress by David and Marion Donaldson is a favourite of ours, and is made in Scotland. The dress is a beautiful shade of teal with yellow, orange and green stripes of flowers running throughout. The sleeve and collar have a lace trip and it comes with an ivory ribbon waist tie. The buttons down the front are purely for decoration, whilst it has a fully functioning zip on its rear. The label is old and doesn't state the fabric but it has a heavy weight to it that hangs nicely. The chest measures 36 inches, the hips are 38 inches and the waist is 26 inches. The shoulder to sleeve hem is 23 inches, and ther shoulder to base hem is 54 inches.
