Art Deco Egyptian Revival Necklace
A totally divine and rare art deco Sautior, Max Neiger style necklace.
It has intricate lapis glass beads with brass filigree spacers, capped beads and blue painted embellishments on the brass around the beads. Not to mention a further seven tassels with decorated beads!
The stunning use of a V shape in the brass focal point is typically Egyptian, which makes it an interesting piece for Egyptian Revival collectors.
The condition is very good for its age; the barrel clasp works well and the necklace is strong. There are no noticeable chips to the beads. There is tarnishing of the metal which is expected with the age of the piece and is shown in photographs.
